  • Carpal tunnel syndrome, (pre and post operation)
  • Trigger finger
  • Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
  • Fractures and dislocations
  • Lateral epicondylitis (“tennis elbow”)
  • Dupuytrens Disease
  • DeQuerveins tendonitis
  • Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome and chronic pain
  • Mallet fingers
  • Burns and scars
  • Sporting injuries (and if needed protective bracing for sports)
  • Overuse injuries and tendinopathys

 

 

 

Western District Hand Therapy Services fees are expected on the day of consultation and are not covered by medicare (unless your doctor has referred you for the Enhanced Primary Care plan). Patients attending under this program will incur a small gap fee if they do not currently hold a pension or health care card. 

Western District Hand Therapy accepts compensable Clients (Workcover, Department of Veterens Affairs, TAC) however if your claim is rejected the patient is liable for all costs. If your claim is accepted, consult fees will be covered by your insurance agent and will be billed directly to them however patients are responsible for the cost of additional splints and therapy equipment.

Fees for private patients are as follows:

 

  • Initial Consultation................................................................................ $70.00

 

 

  • Standard/Review Consultation.............................................................$65.00


 

  • Any splints or additional therapy equipment will incur an additional fee.
